I've found that a hot glue gun or a few quick stitches solves this problem real easily.
(Kidding!!)
This happens to me too, but only when my hands are cold. If it happens all the time, maybe you do need it sized a little?

Re: Does your E-Ring...
mine turns, I am having the Ring Balls (?) placed in it.... there was a pic of it a while ago....
I am afraid that if I shrink the ring it wil: a - losen the side stones (they are channel set) & b- not fit if & when we decide to have babies

I'm the same as Liz. Mine used to turn ALL the time. Since the wedding band is there now, it almost never turns.
I wouldn't re-size your rings until you see how it feels with the wedding band.

Re: Does your E-Ring...
Mine turns a little regularly, but never all the way around. It's been somewhat tight on me this summer, especially with all the humidity, but when I'm in my office where it's freezing, my fingers shrink and every once in a while one of the side stones will dig into my middle finger or pinky. If it turns all the way around even when you're fingers are swollen, or if you drop your hand down and it slides down to your knuckle, you should really get it resized.

Re: Does your E-Ring...
I work fora jeweler and if you feel uncomfortable with your ring, go to a jewlere and ask them to put balls on the insideof your ring. They will do it right in front of you so you can keep and eye on our ring (if not do not do it with them). If your finger ever gets bigger and feels uncomfortable, they can always melt them out.

I had that problem too. Mine was always turning. I had to get it resized twice. After that, they could not size it any smaller so they had to put the balls on it. So I say I have a male ring. LMAO. It did help though!

Re: Does your E-Ring...
i had the little balls placed on my ring and found it helped a lot. the ring does still tend to turn, but it's better. at first i found those balls to be annoying, but now i'm not even aware of it.

How do those ball things look? How do you put it on? Do you get it from a jeweler?

Re: Does your E-Ring...
Mine not only turns but can slip off. I brought it back to the jeweler and he said to wait until the weather gets hot. He's right in that the ring is not tight when it's 90 degrees out but if I go into air conditioned rooms or wash my hands with cold water - I'm afraid it will fall off. I even wear it on my right hand because my finger is bigger on that hand. It also doesn't help that 9 out of the 12 months of the year in NYC - it will never be 90 degrees. I got engaged in April and couldn't wear the ring until it heated up in July (darn that cold June we had!!) When i went back to the jeweler - some woman said I'd probably just get fat one day after kids so I should leave it alone. That would be fins - if they agreed to replace it if it falls off my finger!!! So yes - mine turns and then some. (and it isn't big at all - one carat center with .35 on sides)

Jlm, get thee to another jeweler! Or at least get the ring insured. I've never heard of a jeweler not resizing the ring for you if you tell them it's literally falling off your finger.
As for the hag in the store...

Re: Does your E-Ring...
Mine used to all the time! Sometimes, if I had my fingers pointed down, the e-ring would slide off. I just got it resized. It still goes off-center, but not as much as it used to. When DH bought the ring, it was originally a size 6. I had to have it resized to a 4 1/2. Not if only the rest of my body was that small!

Re: Does your E-Ring...
Funny timing...just went last night to get a ring guard on mine...it's fine when I'm warm, but when I'm cold I feel like its going to come right off. I think they tilt and stuff because they are so top heavy! Think about maybe getting a ring guard...you can't see it and you can always have it removed if your finger gets...well, bigger...ha,ha

Re: Does your E-Ring...
I think the reason why they can't make it smaller for some is because it will start to change the setting of the ring which can loosen and the diamond(s) can fall out. They sodder the balls on the inside of the ring at the bottom. I have 2.

Re: Does your E-Ring...
My ring turns....if its warm outside my fingers swell up a little and it doesn't budge!! But if its cold it can slide off my finger!! Zales suggested to me to put the balls in them....I am still debating whether I should do that or not....
