FH and I make all the decisions together. It's his wedding too so I want to involve him as much as possible.

Plan and simple, if you don't help then you can not complain about the amount of $$$$ that is spent. My FH is taking care of limo, hotel and DJ.

I found that FH wants to be involved, but sometimes the reason he isn't is because he has no idea what is happening. So I basically research, check his schedule, figure out our calendar, ask all the questions at places, keep files, and he does some of the phone work and he definetily has input. It's a team effort but I guess you could call me the captain lol? We're both happy with the arrangement though, it works.

I've learned that there are certain things the FH enjoys and wants to be involved in (like the invitations and picking the photographer) and other things he could care less about. So I've just been asking him for help with the things that he's already interested in. But most of it has been me doing the research and then presenting him with the options.

I had the same problem (or at least felt the same way) - You make the appointments, and he goes with you.

You can give him tasks based on his strengths - the ones I assigned were all initial contact with vendors to get pricing, negotiations with vendors, etc.

I also trusted him with the DJ decision and didn't want to deal with it so he attended a bridal show by himself yesterday to meet with a potential dj.

I think its hard for MOST FHs to stay focused (hell, its hard for me too...) Just try to delegate.....
I think there will be a lot more of that in the future :)
