Re: does your FH help you...
I love to cook so I really dont mind doing it every night. FH can cook and he does when I don't want to but its really helps my stress.
He does the dishes!! I always hate doing them :)

Re: does your FH help you...
i'm really lucky that he loves to cook! we mostly cook together, but he enjoys treating me to a meal a la billy!
i would tell him that you would like to do some cooking together, to spend time together. you could to the preparing, and he'll do the grilling (grunt grunt). hopefully he'll enjoy the extra time that you spend together, and see how easy cooking can be!

FH does SOOOO much around the house - especially cooking. i don't know how to cook a licking - if it weren't for him, we'd both starve!!!
yes my FH helps me cook, and he can do it himself. He really does so much I am very lucky.

FH seriously CANNOT cook lolz..it's bad..but he doesn't even know where to start!!! If I'm cooking he'll try to help cut some stuff up, stir the macaroni.etc...lolz.. but whenever I don't feel like cooking he always offers to get some takeout for us..
yeah my FH is completely LOST in the kitchen

Perhaps do every other day or at least maybe bbq a few days a week and have him in charge of that?

Oh thanks for a good laugh!!! FH never cooks!!! I wish he did..I'll have to 'thank' his mom for that one!!! I do have to say though that I am enjoying cooking more and more. It feels good when you make something and it tastes good!

Re: does your FH help you...
He has made a couple of things for me... steak and some type of noodle thingy. I think he has tried burgers, too! He does most of the cleaning...he has OCD, so thats not my problem, i can never clean cause its always clean. But thanks for the idea to go to kraftfood, LnF0405...i really am stranded! I think i am going to make a new thread for recipes!

my FH cooks me dinner every night i get home after he does, so it's kind of fallen on him to do it.

Re: does your FH help you...
I typically cook dinner, but I know FH would do it if he needed to. But our agreement is I cook and he cleans. He does breakfast for us on the weekends. I get my cooking ideas from www.foodnetwork.com andI have Good house keepings cookbook which FH's parents bought us and is really good. For xmas I got some Rachael Ray cookbooks and have been thumbing through those as well. For me I find it easy to plan the meals before shopping so I know what to buy and then I don't have to worry about coming up with meals to cook each night when I get home from work.
