does your FH help you...

COOK! Mine just doesnt do it enough! How do i get him to do it at least half of the time??? Im also running out of ideas with what to cook!

we tag team it...brad cooks the meat and I cook the sides. OUr kitchen is so small that we are stepping on oen another all the time but it lets us spend time together, get it done quicker and nobody is doing all the work alone!

FH IS THE BEST!!!! He makes lobster, stir frys, chicken dishes, penne a la vodka and other great dishes. We enjoy cooking together.

its not a matter of whether he will do it its that he can't

he just can't cook...he burns toast and grilled cheese, he can't even make scrambled eggs its bad LOL

Sometimes I cook and sometimes he cooks, but the best is when we cook together.

i'm lucky bc FH is really good about helping with that stuff. i know a lot of women who can't get their guys to do a thing! mine was raised by a single mom.

We share it. Whoever is home first will usually do the cooking. We try not to define roles. We end up splitting most of the cooking, cleaning...

He actually cooks way more than I do. I am a TERRIBLE cook, so if he wants something edible, he has to make it himself

he thinks he is so cool now that he knows how to cook...
he learns actually really great recipes from the firehouse. we barely ever cook a real sitdown meal anymore, our work schedules are crazy all the time...
but i the summer he handles the grilling and I do all the rest.. I love to cook so i dont mind so much

Try to find some fun things to cook and see if he's into it!

FH seriously CANNOT cook lolz..it's bad..but he doesn't even know where to start!!! If I'm cooking he'll try to help cut some stuff up, stir the macaroni.etc...lolz.. but whenever I don't feel like cooking he always offers to get some takeout for us..

Haha... same here. I don't think it's that I'm terrible, I just hate it!! So, FH does it most of the time.

Ditto FH clean, cook, clean the dishes, put the cloth to wash.. We share the house responsabilities equally who ever get home earlier or is at home.. For example today I had a lot of HW to do so he told me not to worry that he make something when he gets here

And regarding the cooking part during school time I make simple stuff but I sometimes check kraftfood.com and they have a lot of receipes that are simple and fast

I say make him become a fireman...My FH didn't even know how to boil water before i meet him and know that he is on FDNY he thinks he knows everything.

I dont like cooking but I can cook. FH loves to cook but sometimes its not that good he loves to experiment. He is really good at bbqing.

I love baking I can bake all day.
