Does your FI have a friend that you can't stand???

Mine does....I hate this guy. He is just really annoying and just an overall loser

. My FI claims that he really doesn't even like him BUT he helps my FI to buy discounted electronics so my FI feels a debt to him

We didn't invite him to our engagment party because I said absolutely NOT and my FI feels guilt about this. But he says that we must invite him to the wedding

Needless to say this is the source of many an argument

kind of- he does hang with very wealthy bachelor types - always travelling, always at the best bar, restaurant, etc.

they are great guys- but sometimes i feel like he envies their lifestyle - but he reminds me how happy he is with me so i cant really complain.

I love all of my FI's friends I'm here thinking and nope, there's not one friend I do not like. We all got along the minute my FI introduced me to all of them.

However, some of the guys in his fire department are much to be desired

I truly don't mind his friends.

He's especially close with his cousins' hubbys who are really great guys. The only thing I mind is when he's with his work friends (& wives, gf's) it's shop talk the entire night....like, enough already!!!

no not really... most of my FI's friends are my friends as well, since we all went to the same college, his childhood friends are pretty nice guys too. I guess I am considered lucky

Not really. FH's friends, despite their idiosyncracies, are nice guys. There is one friend of FH's that I'm a little worried about, though. He's great, but he has a tendency to party a little too hard. This friend is in our BP, so on my wedding day I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that he doesn't get too drunk and embarass himself - or worse, us!!

For the most part I like his friends. However one friend that doesn't live in NY was in town recently (the weekend of our e-party) and another friend brought him along. He was so rude! I ended up snapping at him because he walked into MY house at MY party and said to FI,'Thanks a lot for inviting me!' really sarcastic. I don't like him.

I like most of his friends, he doesn't have a lot but his close ones are my brother and his brother (haha!).
He once had this friend who i COULDNT STAND....ooooo i hated him soo much. So they just stopped talking and my FH hates him too bc he was so mean to me :D

ummmmm do i have to pick just one?????

He has a female friend with whom i cant stand since she is forever throwing herself all over him- they 'dated' when they were like 16 no big deal- but still right in front of me she will flirt;I HATE HER! We dont see her too often because of this deep hatred i have for her...

then he has one friend, and unfortunately he is a GM... he is a;ways drunk..always- 10am doesnt matter but no he doesnt have a problem... then they go out, this guy always seems to get into fights, doesnt have a girlfriend and always badgers fh why he cant go out every weekend, thur fri and sat!!!! UMMM maybe cause he is NOT single ! and doesnt want to risk everything for a night out with you! He is a nice guy i guess, never did anything to me personally, i just dont like how he is

i guess those are the two i really dont like, most others are basically ok

but fh is the only one with a serious girlfriend/fiance and that makes things a bit weird...they dont get the whole being in an adult relationship thing...

oh well it will happen with time i guess

I love all his friends...except one. Thankfully he lives in Los Angeles, so I don't have to deal with him. I am hoping that his invite 'accidentally gets lost in the mail'

I am glad you posted...I was beginning to think I was a really beoch because everyone else liked their FI friends

i have one friend of fh's that i really dont like... they have been friends since childhood but i really dont know him at all, i've only met him twice.

the reason i started to not like him is this: the friend is engaged. one day he called my fh to tell him about his trip to ac, and i could hear their conversation b/c the cell phone was so loud. The first thing he said to my fh was ' there were mad hot b*tches there.' Hmmmn how annoying, he has a fiancee so why does he care about other girls so much that he has to call my fi to tell him? other reason i dont like him is because they hang out together when they feel like smoking (not cigarettes). And the last reason i dont like him is because they went to a strip club together, b/c that is where he wanted to go. When i talked to him after that and said i was mad about the strip club he said that his fiance did not care and that i should learn to relax. (which is not true, he never told his fiance he went). He also said i should break up with my fiance because i am making his life miserable.

so i don't like him.

well we have the same group of friends, we were friends before we started to date, so his friends are also my friends so i like them all...

There's only one I don't like, but thankfully he lives in AZ. He was in town and we all hung out, and the guy was so miserable and pissy the entire time that he just killed the entire mood.

Supposedly now he has a GF, so maybe his attitude has changed.

I like all his friends ...but at our e party his best friend ( and best man) got really drunk and grabbed one of my friends booty's. Needless to say that did not go over well with me....hope he is good at the wedding.
