A dog jumped in my dad's car as he opened the car door. The dog has no tags. It looks like a mutt....tan with white paws and a blackish mouth. It's pretty hyper and it's pretty skinny. I dont know if this dog was abandoned and we're calling places right now that can take the little guy in.
PLEASE IF ANYBODY KNOWS SOMEBODY THAT LOST THIS DOG, PLEASE FM ME! WE FOUND THE DOG IN VALLEY STREAM
Oh gosh I will ask my brother if he hears anything, he live-in Franklin Square.

P.S.
A couple of years back when I was living in Franklin Square I found a little yorkie. The next day the humane society, I believe in Wantagh came and picked it up. It had been missing for a while and they thought someone might have picked it up then dumped it by us. It was so sad, but thankfully it's owners were found.
I hope this pup finds it's old home or a new one. It breaks my heart.

i'm keeping my fingers crossed that the dog's owner calls. He was pretty skinny though. I could see his ribs. He was breaking my heart and i was practically in tears. Keeping my prayers for the little fella

I know!!!! I have 2 doggies, we adopted 1 of them from a shelter and we luv him to death!!!!!

I forgot to tell you sometimes (now more than before) they put microchips under the pet's skin so maybe that can help to identify where the doggie came from

Call your local policw dept and check of anyone reported him lost. Also the town of hempstead animal shelter and craigslist.
And see if a vet can scan him for a microchip.
Yay for helping a lost doggie. Hes obv friendly so he prob had a home at one point.
Sadly he could have been abandoned in a foreclosure or just dumped.
People can be cruel :( i see it every day w the dogs i try to save.

Its so sad when that happens to animals like that. Me and FH actually 2 weeks ago rescued a dog from the streets up where he lives and she was so starved and just wants attention she is a little hyper but that's prob bc she was alone for how long. She eats like a vacuum and is still so skinny she is a gorgeous dog and we asked around and she didn't have a chip the worst thing is that it happens a lot in that town bc of college students they leave the dogs outside while they go away for a weekend or longer. It breaks my heart!
Hopefully that dog can either find its owners or a loving new home!

There are Lost Dog signs all over Farmingdale. I know it's a bit of a trek to Valley Stream but you never know. I'll try and get a good look at the sign on my way to work and let you know the number!

CRASHING...i hope the dog finds his home...please post a pic when you can. These animals are soo angelic, after everything he has probably been through and hes still wagging his tail acting happy.....awww he is lucky to have found good people like you guys!
