domestic partnership

someone posted that they did this. im just wondering if u can either post the information or FM me on how i cant do this and what i need to have to file for this.

i know it sounds so silly to get a domestic partnership now since we are getting married but i need to get his medical benefits so this is the only way we can do it.

actually FH and I looked into this and his company will not cover me because we're not married and the only time they cover unmarried partners is if it is a homosexual relationship. My answer of telling him that I used to have a penis didn't fly...

You should really really double check this...if you argue with them, they might give in. Its not fair that they can be discriminating against you. If they offer it to homosexuals they should also offer it to heterosexuals, its only fair. My fh company offers it and we have it...just double check!!

Thanks! I'm going to call up the insurance company directly and ask them, apparently FH just went on to the website and read it off his company policy. If you don't mind me asking, what type of company does your FH work for? You can FM it to me if you don't want it displayed on the boards, thanks!
