Don't know where to start!! - Long Island Weddings

Has anyone attended large wedding at Timberpoint? or had a Large wedding there? I just want to know if its worth looking at. Lessings says it can hold 270, but i'm skeptical

I've been to a party there with about 175-200 and there was enough room in the ballroom....cocktail hr is inside and outside there wouldn't be enough room for everyone inside for cocktail hr...we are having our wedding there

so I'm a little biased, but it's worth checking out..I have quotes if you want.

you have plenty of time, from when I got engaged until when I get married is only 8 months and I was fine. Do what they girls above suggest, look up places online and if you like how they look call, most places will give you a price over the phone. Stick to what is important to you, like one wedding at a time or waterfront, this will help narrow your choices. I also suggest if your iffy about a place go see it anyway, you never know.

Has anyone gotten quotes from North Ritz or Carlyle lately? I'd appreciate it! I've looked at 3 halls, and those 2 are next on the list.. I just want to book it and just have a date already!
