How do you make a donation as part of a wedding favor? How does that all work? Has anyone done it?

thank you, i baught all strawberry cream life savers for the breast cancer pink & choclate brown boxes, and I got lucky thats my color scheme.

we donated to the ASPCA and they sent us printed up cards explaining the donation in lieu of a favor. We also brought butterfly candle placecard holders that we will put the note card in and on the table.

We are making a donationto the breast cancer foundation, and I am leaving a note on a box filled with 'life savers'... get it?

We are making little cardstock scrolls that will be rolled, tied with ribbon and placed on each guest's plate. Ours will say:
To Our Family and Friends
We have chosen a special way to say thank you for sharing our special day with us. In lieu of a traditional favor, we have Made a donation in your name and in memory of Martin ________________ and Robert _______________ To the following organizations: __________ Museum ___________Museum
We feel that one of the finest gifts is one which preserves history for all to share.
We truly appreciate your being Part of our special day.
