donation favor -ideas

Hey girls - I need help thinking of how to present that we made a donation...

we are making a donation to Doctors Without Borders (FH and I are both finishing up medical school and it was an organization we have alwasy both liked) but they dont give us scrolls or cards.

How do I make these on my own without spending a lot? I want to use nice paper but I'm not sure how to go about doing it myself or where to go to get them printed.

I'd like to include a pic from Doctors without borders and a message?

any thoughts?

With printing I'd say the easiest and least expensive would be to buy paper from staples or office max (with a coupon of course) and just print them out at home or you can print them there too - Black and White is the least expensive and I think looks nice anyway.

Design - You should try and make it where you can print 4 out on one 8.5x11 page and cut them out. This way you're not using so much paper.

FM me if you need help with the design.

We made ours on card stock that matched the wedding colors. Pics are in my album

if anything you could make a sign and put it next to the place card table. Maybe an 8x10 of 11x 17 card that states the information and says 'in leiu of favors we will be making a donation to ...... and in that you can include a picture.

*i think the individual scrolls or whatnot are always wasted because no one takes them home they just end up all over the reception at the end of the night, and you spent all that money printing, etc. it seems a waste. Unless you will be giving something with it like a candy or other favor im a huge fan of the sign

I LOVE the 8x10 or larger sign idea! We actually asked our printer to print them on the back of the escort card tent (well, we didnt so much ask as we said 'we can't afford a seperate card' haha) and they came out really nicely...but I was concerned from the get-go that people might not notice and just think we stiffed them on a favor so I love the idea of one large sign too, thank you!!!

You could also do one sign on each table
