Re: Donation wedding favors
FH and I spoke about this, and we didn't wind up doing a donation wedding favor, but if we did, it would have been to the ASPCA to help our 4 legged friends. Can't forget about them! =)

Re: Donation wedding favors
We are throwing this idea around. I'd love to do a donation in some sort that benefits either returning soldiers or soldiers that are currently serving overseas. There are quite a few of these types of organizations.

We're donating to the Make a Wish foundation.. as unfortunately my FH's nephew has used them while going through Cancer. We are so fortunate that he is in remission!
We'll be doing $3-$4 per person...based on our list now... Ultimately, if we get alot of 'no's' we'll be donating more.

I am considering donating to the Juvenile Diabletes Research Foundation (JDRF) for children and adults who live with type 1 diabletes. It could affect children from birth into adulthood. There is no cure and is something people spend their lives struggling to manage and leads to many complications and death. It is the only organization exclusively devoted to finding a cure or helping people manage and live with type 1 diabetes.
We haven't discussed favors yet, but FH has Type 1 Diabetes and if we go do donations it will most definitely be to this!

We donated to the Morgan Stanley Childrens Hospital in memory of our nephew who they took amazing care of, but unfortunately passed away last year. We did $2 a person, but I feel like you could do whatever you want
