Donations as Favors??
I know it was on here once before, but I can't find any useful info. How do you go about giving a donation as favors. Who do you contact? I would do a cancer organization.

Donations as Favors??
American Cancer Society gives you scrolls with special wording for donations as favors. But, when I called it sounded kind of expensive for each scroll (can't remember how much, sorry). Go to their website for info, or at least their phone #. We were going to do a donation, but couldn't find an organization in memory of my mom that was suitable.

Donations as Favors??
We are also thinking of using donations as favors. If we do, we are going to give to the September 11th Fund and hand out American Flag pins attached to cardboard saying what we did. We felt that since we are getting married so close to the one year anniversary, that it would be the appropriate fund to give to.

Donations as Favors??
My aunt and his aunt passed away around the same time from cancer a few yrs ago. We are going to donate to Sloan Kettering, and have a plaque made up with names of all our guests and the donation (yes, this is extra $$), and bring the plaque to the wedding for our guests to see. We are then going to give the plaque to Sloan Kettering, and they will hang it up there.
