Donations for Favor

I was just wondering what everyone thought of this and if anyone knows how to go about it.

we're doing donations as well. probably print up something on a card or something explaining to the guests what we are doing.

We donated money to the Cancer Society in memory of my dad. We are going to print up something on scroll paper as the paper. Anyone who knew my dad would appreciate the gesture as opposed to a favor they wouldn't use.

We did this.

We made little tags and attached them to small boxes of mixed candies stating that we have made a donation to the American Cancer Society.

Haven't decided who we are donating to yet - have a few thoughts - but we are definitely doing this over giving out another picture frame or candle! i think it's more meaningful!+

I'm going to make a donation to the American Cancer Society as well. They actually will write up wording for you and put it on a scroll for you for no charge. You just need to confirm the wording for them and let them know how many scrolls you need.

i also donated to the cancer society through the wedding scroll program. I feel it is such a meaningful favor...

We are donating to the Amercan Cancer Society also. If you go to the website, they will give you all of the information you need. You can also order samples of the fonts and wording and whatnot...

we did it and got tons of thanks from our guests. One cousin said as she was leaving it was great idea since she alsways throws out those 'chakas' she gets from weddings. How many picture frames can i use????? she said.

Pick charities that mean something to you.
I have to post a pick of the scroll i made.
we did cancer society and Little Shelter of Huntington, provides food and shelter for abandoned pets. they get no state funding.
we just went to visit last week.
