I don't think I have the version of 401K where I chose to invest it - atleast I think that's what I did 3 years ago... I think I have more of the conventional one, I really hope so.

Ugh I'm sorry about your 5K that really blows!

I'm praying that it does..at least we are young and have time to rebuild it as much as it sucks right now. So many of my older coworkers lost amounts like 30,000, 50,000, 70,000 etc since this economy. blowssss!!!!!

i know... i guess we'll take the $10K+ loss. i told DH to keep it in there - it's a LT investment and it's GOING TO REBOUND!

Wow!!! crazy!!! You have enough time to bounce back, but it does hurt loosing that much money at any point!
