LI Weddings has to pay the bills somehow right? They cant let us complain openly about their paying customers unless they charge us. Its a shame it has to work that way but oh well. Its much worse when this sort of thing happens with other vendors that arent quite as clear cut as the one you pointed out.

Stef - that's not the way it works! Although I can see why you might think that way. If a post is worded in a slanderous way it's not good! I think everyone knows that we are here to help you in anyway we can. But, we have to do what is right for all, bride, vendor and our attorneys. If someone posts a factual - this is what happened to me. That's fine. But, when it says beware, don't use etc - that will not fly. Actually it will fly, we will delete it! (that's supposed to be a joke)

So, if you have an experience good or bad, state the facts and nothing but the facts and all is fine, okay?

I didnt see Chefe's original post but her second post contained the factual information that the vendor had several BBB complaints against it. Why was that deleted?

I agree with SonicStef- the second post had a list of BBB posts which are documented complaints and not her opinion.....

Shamma: I think this vendor has a sales technique that uses 'giving away' trips to brides on the phone but you have to make a decision right on the spot so the only way someone would come here to check on them is if they have already agreed to the terms. Am I right?

oh....yes!!! I have heard of those kinds of things, they come in many forms....one of them called my GF and told her they needed her CC to claim her gift. she said if its a gift why does she have to pay??? She told them to take her name off the list....they try that mess all the time.

Well I agree. Chefe second post said about the BBB complaints, anyway. I think we all no that everything has a price tag.

I hope no one gets screwed any further.
