Doubt

Doubt

So I started my dress shopping yesterday, and also ended it. I went to BR in Carl Place just to look and fell in love with a dress. So I put a deposit down and called it a day. Now people are making me second guess my decision, not because they don't like it but just because it was so quick and I didn't really shop around. Should I go back out and take another look? Has anyone else doubted their decision?

dont 2nd guess yourself... and if u continue looking for a dress you like more, chances are good that you'll find one... and in reality, you dont have all that much time to be shopping around if you're wedding is this yr... JMO

If YOU like the dress and feel that it is THE ONE that will make you feel beautiful on your wedding day, then that's it. Nevermind what other people say. Most are just busybodies anyway.

Great for you that you found it so quickly. Will you post a picture

Re: Doubt

I went dress shopping ONCE and bought the THIRD dress I tried on. I just knew. My mom was worried that I would regret it...but I absolutely LOVED my dress and don't regret it one little bit. It was the dress of my dreams (and totally not what I expected to fall in love with!)

If you're truly happy and got THE feeling in it..keep it. It's your dress, your wedding and your decision.

Re: Doubt

I know sooo many girls who bought the FIRST dress they tried on, or bought their dress the first day they went shopping! As long as you love it, don't second guess! A word of advice though... stop shopping! You will just make yourself crazy with the what ifs!

If you hit you that hard that you fell in love with it at first sight then that means something!!!

I wish I could hug you, I have been hearing a lot of 'things' from people about quick decisions and hey, it's YOUR day. if you love it, then so be it!

I ended up bying the third dress I tried on...only after I drove myself crazy trying on other dresses. If you fell in love with it then I would stick with it BUT stop looking at other dresses or you will second guess yourself.

SOunds like me... I went just to look, tried on about 5 dresses and saved the one I liked best for last, and that was that!!

Do stop looking at magazines and online and stuff though, there's sooo many beautiful dresses out there it's hard not to second guess yourself.

Re: Doubt

I fell in love with the very first dress I tried on. I shopped around a lot after that. I went to maybe 10 more bridal salons and tried on hundreds of dresses but I ended up with the first dress. So, just because you found your dress early that doesn't mean that's not the one. I wasted time shopping around and did not place my order sooner. I felt rushed with the fittings at the end.

Re: Doubt

My dress was the 2nd one I tried on. I was really set on it, but then friends and family members kept making me 2nd guess myself... so I forced myself to go to other bridal salons, only to keep thinking about the 2nd one I tried on. If you feel that IS THE DRESS, stick with it.... stop looking around and stop looking through dresses online b/c you are going to keep 2nd guessing yourself. Did you put money down because really felt like it was THE DRESS or were you just sick of dress shopping and settled?

Re: Doubt

Don't let other peoples perceptions and opinions sway you - if you love it and you are happy - why waste time looking around just to look!

As long as you feel beautiful!!

Re: Doubt

Dont second guess yourself!! If you fell in love with the dress right away then why question it??

Plus your the one who is going to be wearing the dress, not everyone else!! Dont worry what they have to say!!
