I know I shouldn't do this and it should not matter what people think. Today I was at Macys in Manhasset waiting in front of the Bridal Salon for my cousin admiring my dress is in the window display. Anyway while I was standing there waiting for my cousin these two women walk by look at my dress and say that the dress is horrible and tacky. Who would wear that?! The dress is not sure what it wants to be. They just shredded my dress. Well my stomach turned and they basically ruined the rest of my day. I know not everyone is going to have the same taste but I heard it and it still sort of bothers me. Oh well! I tried to laugh about it but I am not a little insecure about my choice now.

Ok, So I think your dress is GORGEOUS! In fact, when I first started looking for gowns, I was looking at a dress JUST LIKE THIS! It was by St. Pucchi.
Now, I showed some people and they were like, 'WOW That's amazing!' Others said, 'WOW Becca what the eff is wrong with you??'
My point is, not EVERYONE is going to love your dress, but YOU have to love it! Which you do! Those women obviously have different taste and lord knows what THEY would have picked out!! It would probably look something like this:

I think your dress is beautiful! You will never make everyone happy. There will be many people who love it and many who won't . You will have that with any dress, The most important thing is how you feel in it. You will look beautiful in anything you wear. Never doubt yourself!

Some People are just Jealous, either they can't fit in it or can't afford it. As long as you feel go in it that is all that matters. Lucky for them it wasn't me I would have tuned around and let them know it looks stunning on me. At my RH on of the waitress was talking to another waitress and was saying how plain my dress was, I told her is that because you fat *** wouldn't fit in it. She turned five shades of red. Then I had her removed from my party.
First off dresses look so different once their on your bdy. Second Im not a fan of lace but I do your dress. I think it very elegant & will show off your shape! Eff other ppls opinons. If you love it thats all that matters. Try the dress on again and if you feel amazing in it then thats all that matters.

i just wanna say that i just looked at your dress in your album and its GORGEOUS!! i swear, its honestly probably one of the most beautiful ones i've seen. it's absolutely stunning!! don't let them get to you. everyone will have their own opinion but it's YOUR day and YOUR dress ,and no one can take that from you.

Don't let what anyone says bother you. My FMIL told me to my face that she hated my dress and at first I was upset, but its my day and I love it and thats all that matters!! Your dress is gorgeous and you're going to look beautiful!!!

This is why I definitely try not to voice my opinions out loud. Everyone has different tastes. Personally, I think your dress is stunning. It's unique and gorgeous and probably just too much dress for those nasty women. Second guessing the choice is completely natural though. Don't let their opinions ruin your day though! Wear the sh!t outta that dress!

I am sorry that they made you doubt your choice, and it is unfortunate that you had to overhear them say that..but bottom line, not everyone has the same likes and dislikes.
