Has anybody been to a wedding at the Douglaston Manor? I just went to see it today and it looks really pretty, but I don't know anything about the place. I don't know anyone who has been to a wedding there.

My fiance and I went there to look, speak to one of the BM and they will invite you to one of the food tastings and you can make your choice then.

Re: Douglaston Manor
The hall is way to small for my wedding...at first i thought that we could make it work so i called and wanted to plan a date to go see them....whoever i spoke with on the phone was super rude. I had a tentitative guest list of 200-250 and he was just beyond rude saying how his hall would never fit that many people and that i shouldnt waste my time even looking. Its one thing to make it known that the max number of people is XYZ...but there is a polite way to go about that...Then i told him that we would augment the guest list around if i loved the place or not, but with that attitiude i basically told him that he was never getting my money.
Maybe he was having an off day, since reviews have been pretty good...but either way...it was a huge cross off on my list.
