down on one knee....

how many of your FH's actually got down on one knee when they propsed??

mine didn't - the poor guy was so nervous he said if he tried he would have fell!!!

but now i am beginning to think i may have gotten duped....

Mine did. It might have been 2 knees but I was so caught up in the moment I didn't notice. Besides when he gets down we're about the same height.

he did as well and it was great. I had no idea it was coming and it made a very difficult time (my aunt had passed away a week earlier) a little better!

Mine couldn't. We were crammed in my sister's kitchen for Passover dinner and there was no room. He said he wouldnt have - its not him. It was still quite romantic regardless!

Mine didn't, in fact the poor guy got so nervous he started shaking my hand! I was completely confused at that point but then I caught on and tried real hard not to laugh.

Mine didn't either. He was sooooo nervous. He said he had it planned in his head what to do and say, but then completely forgot. I don't feel duped at all. The moment was still very romantic.

However, FH felt badly afterwards that on our way to my parents house about an hour later, he got down on one knee in their driveway and asked me to marry him again. Thats probably why I don't feel duped.
