Yes, FI went down on one knee in front of the Buckingham fountain in Chicago. It was lovely, he knew I wanted the traditional proposal so he made sure to do it.

Mine didn't, he was so nervous he almost didn't ask me and was going to wait. He knew I would say yes but he was still really nervous.

i laughed right in his face for about 10 mins straight after he asked me. i kept saying 'this isn't real!' laughing and laughing....

OMG! You and I definitely think alike! We were going over to my brothers house and were running late and he kept telling me to wait a minute but yet was just standing there like a dope. Finally he starts talking, then starts shaking my hand and I'm like...uh, okay now we shake hands, we need to leave or Irene's gonna kill us, then I caught on when he asked. Sadly, I had to ask to see the ring because he had it behind his back in the box and totally forgot to give it to me. What a dork, but I love him anyway

yup, mine too! We were eating spaghetti dinner at home (how elegant! lol) and I turned around to pick up my glass or something and he had disappeared.. ok, actually, he was on the floor on one knee! I was like WHAT are you doing?! I aslo kept asking him if he was serious! Needless to say, I was caught a bit off guard!
Fortunately I quickly recovered and said yes

Rich did - he got down on both of 'em, actually. But then he just kinda shoved the ring in my face.
