Dr Seuss Baby Shower

planning impomptu baby shower for out of town sister
and was just wondering if anyone had any ideas for a Dr. Seuss Themed baby shower???

already posted a LONG post (different then this) on NWR board and figured this would be a good place too

Are you picking on book in particular? Is there a special reason for Dr. Seuss?
You could get a cake with Cat in the Hat on it. Your invites have to rhyme like one of his stories. Give out small books as favors. Stripes and Dots are big in his books so use those to decorate and wrap gifts.

She is painting the room in Dr. Seuss so I figured it would be fun.

I love to planned theme parities

I might try to make a Green Eggs and ham cake, found it on the family site.

no particular book, but find the most stuff on
The Cat in the Hat, so this will be predominant

You can use gold fish bowls with flowers in them for centerpieces. I am not a fan of live things used so that is why no fish. But I know a gold fish is a big part of the book.
