OK so this weekend I tried on my wedding dress and it was 4 inches too short!!! I ordered 5' extra length and the designer never added it! They added the length to the train but not the front of the dress! I was so disappointed. Now I don't know when the heck my dress is going to come in.

I'm stressed, does anyone have any good stress relief tips.

for me..a couple glasses of vino!!! lol

but if a drink is not your bag, excercise, cuddling with your honey, watching a funny movie..or laughing with a friend.

Yea, I am definitely glad I tried it on early. It wasn't supposed to come in till March, but since it came in early I figured I would go and try it on. I knew it would happen, I am 6'1', so dresses and pants are NEVER long enough for me. Hopefully they can get it fixed and back to the US within a few months. I think it goes to Italy or Australia.

Vino is usually the answer to my problems haha

Oh you have so much time! You can relax, thank goodness! My dress just came in and the wedding is in April! I was starting to freak out! You have over 5 months - how long will the alterations take? 2-3 months? It could have been so much worse! So and for finding the mistake.

In terms of relief of stress - the lovely lady above me gave some wonderful suggestions for cuddling and exercise sleeping always works for me shopping eating and vacations always help.

You and me both. My dress came in too short also (and I'm not even that tall....im only 5'6'). I have to go back in early Feb to re-try it on and have them re-measure me And everyone kept bugging me 'why are you going for your fittings so early, why did you order your dress so early?!' All I can say now is thank G-d I did!

I think you and I need to have a few glasses of wine
