Yes! Months ago an '07 bride told me that I had 'suffolk county written all over me' b/c I was going to have squirrel place card holders.

I really have absolutely no idea how I missed it.

The only thing I can think of is that it became a really long thread while I was at work or something, and didn't want to read all of those pages when I got home, and I didn't see it.

I'm so sad it was pulled. All of the fun threads get pulled.

I never quite understand when people get OFFENDED by things like that. She was truly offended and disgusted that I was using squirrel place card holders. Honestly, who cares about what other people are doing!!!

I'm offended because I am from Suffolk County, and I don't like that broad generalization. And, what is it, exactly, to be 'Suffolk County,' I mean...... there are 'not so nice' areas all over Long Island -- so, what exactly did she mean?

I wonder if they get confused in Farmingdale?

I bet they sometimes wander over the border and taunt Nassau County.
