what is everyones dress budget i really dont wanna spend more than 2000
I was expecting to spend around 2,000 I would've gone to 3K if I really loved something. I didnt really look at the prices when I was trying on (I told the consultant my budget so I think she may have been monitoring) But my dressed ended up costing $850! Which was a very nice surprise :)
I can top that... my budget is capped at $1,500 but I'm really hoping for under $1,000! There are so many inexpensive dresses out there that look gorgeous, so I think you won't have a problem.
I'm figuring on a budget of $1000, I'd probably go a little over that if i really loved something but I agree that there are so many beautiful less expensive dresses out there and so I'd really like to keep the cost down.
Ahhh!! This is the one thing I'm trying to not worry about for some reason. I'm going to say 1500-2000..especially since we plan on doing a pretty crazy TTD the day after!
David's Bridal has many dresses that are under $1000. It also depends on how ornate your gown is. I don't know if certain silhouettes/cuts are also more than others?
I can't justify spending more than $3,000 with tax. If you include alterations, that leaves me like $2000-2500, but ideally I'd like to find one for less. I just don't want to bind myself if I fall in love with a dress that's a little more.
The lower the better, but I really don't want to go above $2000 for the dress b/c then comes the alterations/veil/shoes! I was worried about this at first b/c I thought you had to spend at least $2000 to get a nice dress (thank you Say Yes to the Dress...) but I've seen a lot of nice ones under that price point.
I went to RK bridal with a budget of 2500 and every dress I liked to enough to check the price of was well under budget! There are plenty of beautiful options in the 1,000 - 2,000 dollar range out there. I don't think you ladies will have any problem!
I really want to spend less than $2500 total for dress, tax and alterations but wouldmaybe go up to $3000 total but really hoping to stay way under that
I went shopping with a 2000 budget and found my dress for 1400 at a trunk show! I figure after alterations and a belt (which are wayyyyy more expensive then I expected!) that ill be right on budget!
I got mine at bridal elegance in huntington / dix hills. My dress has a lot of details on it too (beading, sparkles, crystals) so I was shocked when I heard the price. The designer is Mori Lee - I've never heard of her before I bought me dress but I guess she is reasonably priced.
Sorry I'm crashing ladies. I just went wedding dress shopping last week at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa and found my dress. I told them I didn't want to spend more than $2000 and all the dresses I tried on were way under even before the discount she gave (without a trunk show). All the dresses I tried on even had details on them. The dress I picked is in my album. Because of the style, I don't need too much alternations done which is great for me. Less $$$ to spend there as well. If you go to BR, meet with Mary Lou she is amazing!
I went shopping with that same budget and for the dress and veil it was $2003. So not too bad. There are a bunch of beautiful dresses under $2000
i still have 3 years till my wedding date as of the 7th! but i cannot wait! i see so many beautiful dresses online and cant help but wanna just go try them on!
i know i totally wanna go but def. not commiting!
