I went to Kleinfelds in April, tried on a bunch of dresses.
Fell in with a Kenneth Pool gown.....
Since then I've been to two other bridal salons, and haven't found anything comparable to the KP dress.
So this past friday, I was in the city with my best friend, so we stopped in Klenfelds and I tried on the dress for her. (I was with my mom last time).
She LOVED it, but I wasn't sure!!!
GRRR. Am I supposed to feel all butterfli-ish? Cuz' I'm not so sure that I'm that type Yet I love the dress.

Re: Dress Confusion?
Sounds like it is 'the one' if you havn't felt like anything else compared. That's how I new... actually I knew as soon as I put it on and tried on others to confirm my gut feeling.
Maybe go to 1 or 2 moreplaces just to be 100%.
btw I didn't cry when I tried mine on... I GLOWED!!!

if your not positive I would def keep looking. You want to LOVE your dress so unless your 100% sure then I wouldn't go with that dress.

You can always bring your FMIL with you to help you pick a dress

Yep I agree with my cousin. And I did the same - I beamed when I tried it on but didn't cry. I think I may cry at my fittings or maybe my final fitting, but I didn't cry when I tried on the size 12 sample and I'm a size 2 lol.

Re: Dress Confusion?
Maybe it was because you built the dress up in your head, so you didn't have such a strong reaction when trying it on again? Sort of like what happens when you love a restaurant and go back the second time and don't love it to the same degree!! Especially if you spent time staring at it on its website! You might want to take a little break from looking at it and thinking about it, and then go back and try it on along with some others. See if it still stands out amongst the others. If you just tried THAT dress on again the second time, you might not have had in your mind all the dresses that didn't do anything for you! Good luck!

I agree with this!
Also, I didnt think I was the type to know when it was 'the one' but I totally did!!!! I didnt cry or anything but absolutely loved it. I would also say if after another month or so and a few more places you still keep comparing that one to everything, then it is probally it! Also, I dont know if you could take pics at Kleinfelds before you buy but if you cant, maybe you could have one of your friends or bms come in the fitting room with you alone and then could snap a pic. I think its so helpful to see yourself in it in pics.
BTW, I did not cry at all, I kinda felt the same way you did. Like 'Oh, this is definitely nicer than anything else I tried on' but that was it. Then once we put a deposit down on it and I went back to show my BMs and grandparents and stuff I was always so excited to put it on and everyone kept telling me how beautiful I looked and how perfect a dress it is for me.
So that's how i know its THE one now.

Here's the dress,
OMG! I saw that dress online and loved it but it was out of my budget lol That dress is gorgeous!!! I did find a dress at Kleinfelds though and I didn't cry either. I just felt amazing in it and it just felt like the style fit me best compared to all the other ones. I may cry at one of the fittings though lol

Re: Dress Confusion?
I didn't cry. The only way I knew mine was the one was because I couldn't stop thinking about it when I got home. And I couldn't stop thinking about it so much, that I lost sleep that night

Re: Dress Confusion?
I think if you still feel like you need to continue looking then don't order the dress. I would wait until January to order, since your wedding is November. All the new dresses start hitting stores in November, what if you see something you like better? If that KP is always at Kleinfeld you know its a sure bet-but I wouldn't rush into ordering just yet.
