Dress Deposit question? Help!

Hi ladies...
I posted last week that I'm having serious doubts about my dress....
Does anyone have any experience with changing dresses and having the deposit transferred to another dress? I ordered my dress at the end of November...so it's been almost 2 months since I ordered it..
I'm afraid to call the dress store and even ask these questions...
I can't go out and buy another dress....left a HUGE deposit....
Ugh...I'm so embarrassed to be writing this... I feel like a crazy person lately... all of this second guessing on this dress is making me so sad :(

Don't be embarrased! I had the same issue with my FIRST dress. I purchased it at the end of November and by the first of December, I was having nightmares and seriously depressed with the choice I made. My advice, and what worked for me was that I talked to the bridal consultant I worked with and told her how I felt about the dress, being that it had only been a month since I ordered they allowed me to transfer my deposit to any dress of equal or greater value. So basically I could not pick a cheaper dress.

Every bridal shop is different but I would suggest talking to them.

I finally have a dress that I can truly say that I LOVE and it's everything that I envisioned when I began planning our wedding day!
