DRESS DRAMA!!!!!!!!!

OK.....so heres the deal

A while ago, I posted that i wasnt happy with my dress...i didnt know what was wrong, i just didnt like it like i did when i bought it. The beading seemed lighter, but i thought i just didnt remember correctly b/c it had been so long since i last saw my dress.

Today......
i went with my mother to see my dress again hoping i would like it more. I had it on and i was looking around.....and i saw MY DRESS....meanig the one i had ordered, with dark silver beading and embroidery. I WAS RIGHT! THE DRESS I HAD WAS A DIFFERENT COLOR THAN THE ONE I HAD ORDERD!!!!!!!!!
I was hysterical. The bridal shop says they will call ther manufacturer....but it took 8 mos for this dress to come in in the first place...I HATE THE DRESS COLOR I HAVE NOW. It just looks so drap on me w/ my skin color (more of a goldish/light silver tint).

I'll keep you all updated...but im so upset!

Update #1:
I went looking for another dress today b/c it didnt look positive..and I found one that I LOVE, so i called the 1st bridal shop and spoke with the owner to say I am uncomfortable waiting for you to re order the dress, I live out of state, that wont work. She said 'NO, you will NOT get your money back, we are in a contract' (TO GET THE CORRECT DRESS IN!!!!!!!!!!!!) The she continues, 'I am working with a bride and can not talk to you now, i will call you monday morning' I respond OK, I understand the bride deserves your full attention, but can you call me when you are finished working with her to discuss this further b/c i am very upset abou tthis situation. She says no and ended the convo with me...I AM SOOO MAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

kepp calling them and make sure they do WHATEVER they can!!

The same thing happened to be but I caught it before my dress came in and luckily I was able to reorder it!

They'll get you a new one!! When it's there fault it's amazing how fast your dress comes in!!! good Luck, I hope every thing works out for you

I'm sorry!! But I can tell you that there is still plenty of time to get the right dress. Don't ease up!! While it may have taken 8 mos. for your dress to come in, it doesn't really take that long. Salons wait to place the order or delay the shipment. I know this for a faact because I had to dress shop the month of my wedding. Rush orders can be placed even a month before. You have some time. But raise hell now and DEMAND an answer daily...call the manufacturer yourself if you have to. One of my friends from theknot had a problem with her Reem Acra (same thing, beading issue - they ordered the wrong dress) and the maker had to rush her dress...but she got it weeks before her wedding. Stay on it!! Good luck!

I'm so sorry! But it's their mistake, and it's on them to get your dress in on time. I'm sure they can make the right calls and make it happen. But I would keep on them.
