yes and no. i have seen plenty of girls on this site order and arrive already for weddings in '07. IMO i am not ordering until sept. ish (about 10 months b4) i feel like if i order now i might see soemthing i like better or new styles will come out or my taste might change a bit. also i plan on losing 10-20 pounds and getting in better shape. so i dont want the dress to be ordered too big. IMo i would wait but at the same time its perfectly ok to order............i just wouldnt look at dresses anymore!

1. do you think your going to lose a lot of weight and 2. Is it something that might not be in fashion next year(if thats an issue for you) If no then i say order it.

If you love it. If you know it's THE ONE. Then I say order it. I didn;t plan on ordering my dress before September and I already did. But I was sure that was it for me. Good luck!!! Can't wait to see a pic if it is the one you do decide to order!

Re: Dress Help...

If you have fallen in love w/ a particular dress you are probably not going to find anything else that compares to that one. I've heard from a friend that works in Bridal fashion, the styles don't vary that much year to year. Unless, you are super trendy and looking for something really original. If you are ordering from a salon ask if you can give a small deposit ($150) to hold the order this way if it gets discontinued by the designer the salon can let you know and you can order it. Make sure this would be refundable if you change your mind.

If you love the dress I say order it. If you wait and don't find anything that compares, it could be too late. My wedding is in July and I am going to start looking in June.

Re: Dress Help...

I feel that its too early..I am looking for wedding dresses until June/July which will be about a year from my wedding and then place my order.....dresses take anywhere from 6 months to a year...depending on the dress and the designer...etc..etc.....Make sure you leave time for fittings...usually three months before...

..just like the other girls...I am scared i might love a dress and think that its the one and then find something else......

Your best bet is to get the dress if your that adamant about it....and then DONT GO DRESS SHOPPING ANYMORE!!!...dont second guess your choice.....Im sure it will be beautiful!!!! Also better early than late......dont want to add more stress to the wedding!!!
