dress help

ok, so i thought i found *the* dress, and i really love it..everyone else seemed to love it too..i made an appointment to order it on wednesday..however tonight my mom (after having a few glasses of wine) decided to tell me that she doesnt feel its the dress for me..now i value my moms opinion a lot, so this kinda hurt..and she proceeded to continue with, 'but you'll still look beautiful in it..' great. so, i ask of your help. i went online and looked at a bunch of maggies, and i need help narrowing down which ones you think i should try on, or if i should just stick with the original one..gosh i hope the pics work..

here's the original...

and here's a few new options..(all by maggie)

janelle royale

melissa brooch

penelope

karena royale

ruby

addie

kym

lara

patience

vogue royale

vivien-this is the original one that my mom really liked

so i know this is a ton of dresses, and all different styles, but any favorites? also, does anyone know who carries a hugee selection of maggies? i want to maybe try some more on tomorrow...

thank ladies

eta: grrr...pics not working..ill try and put them in an album..nevermind..apparently the maggie website doesnt let you copy the pics..

Re: dress help

I think the dress is gorgeous but maybe your mom just needs to see you in a few that aren't 'the one' to really get the idea.

Lillette's carries a lot of Maggie's, but they're not open on Sundays during the summer.

The dress is gorgeous. I'm like you- my mom's opinion matters alot to me. If my mom didn't like my dress, I wouldn't order it. Maybe you can find something similiar to the one you found, but just different enough that she'll fall in love too. Does that any sense even lol

i had an issue like that with my mom too.. i loooved this dress but my mom told me 'it doesn't make her cry' .. which really kinda hurt.. i always kept that in the back of my mind..

.

go dress shopping again with your mom.. if you keep going back to that dress, you know its 'the one' for you.. i ended up finding another dress a few weeks later that both my mom and i loved .. if i didn't find another dress, i would have definitely gone back to the original one

Good Luck!! and that dress is gorgeous!

If you feel like this is the one than go with it.
