What didnt you like about it?

I think because so much time passes between choosing your dress and actually getting it that you start to doubt it. Just remember there is a reason you chose it and once it is fitted to you and your hair, makeup, accessories are in place your going to feel like a million bucks. :)

My advice is to schedule another fitting and this time get your hair and nails done before you go. When you get in there, try to imagine the reason you've gotten this dress and picture yourself wearing it with all the emotion of the day surrounding you.

Ask them to provide you with some sample accessories if you don't have yours yet, and give it a shot.

Maybe bring along a friend who hasn't seen you in the dress yet -- someone who gets emotional easily.

When you see tears in her eyes looking at how beautiful and amazing a bride you are, it might help you recapture some of the excitement!

We all go through dress doubt, and in the end you want to be happy about your decision. I hope you feel better about it soon!

I agree that you shoulod go with someone who will tell you how fabulous you look and be more done up but I also am not happy with my dress and get really sad when I hear people gush about theirs. . I am going for my final fitting today and hope hope hope I feel differently . but part of me really wishes I had just tried to sell mine and buy another b/c I don't feel pretty in it. . but I kept saying I could not justify spending any more money (and still don't think I could) and also my mom bought it and there would be a part of me that would miss it. . . but in the end you have to do what you feel good about..

I will let you know what happens today too b/c if I can grow back to love my dress (literally I sobbed in the first fitting) then anyone can!!
