Please don't respond if you are not comfortable revealing this information.

I am just curious to know how much everyone is spending on their wedding gowns . . . I guess I am just trying to figure out what I should expect so that I can budget accordingly.

If you can, would you please post the designer of your dress, and how much you are paying (have paid)? Thanks Girls!

I'm having mine custom designed and made for me for $ 850.00. You should have no problem getting whatever you want in your price range!

Actually Jenny the one I tried on (and ordered) had silver detailing with crystals. I'm sure it comes in other colors but I'm not sure what they are.

My Maggie Soterro dress came to about a total of $1200 (including alterations) and also comes with a shawl and purse.

Its made by the owner of the bridal shop. Its 1800 but I want a longer train so I dont know how much its going to be with the longer train and alterations.

Also another cheapskate. 599 plus the alterations and tax for a total of 785.

Mine is St. Pucchi,

it was $12,000

but that includes changes I made to the style of the dress (adding a MUCH LONGER train, and MANY Swarovski crystals all over the dress)

Mine is Reem Acra. It cost me $2500 not including alterations, but I got it at a sample sale. In the store its about $6000. (I love a bargain!)

Mine is a Priscilla of Boston and cost $4000.00 with alterations and headpiece it will come to about $5000.00

wow $12,000... lol thats my budget for my entire wedding. but it's a beautful dress. i plan on spending about $500.00 on my dress.

mine was about $2000. Ian Stuart. It was over my moms budget, but she knew it was THE dress.
(turns out she only had to pay $600 of it, but thats another story)

Mine is 650 from David's bridal, plus a ton for a lot of alterations, so total will end up around $1100, but the seamstress is also making me a veil and gloves.

I wore a Rena Koh dress that was $1200. The alterations were another $400 or so including the bustle. My veil was about $500... the comb itself was made up of all swarovski crystals (I think about 250 of them). It would have been more but my MOH bought the crystals in the garment center and actually made the comb herself- (she was a fine arts major and took tons of metal crafting classes)- it was so pretty.
