ok, here is my question, im pretty tall (almost 5'8'), when i ordered my dress i was good on length, but now im trying to finalize my shoes (have a pair, just don't know for sure yet)...they have about a 3 1/2 inch heel.......im thinking maybe these will make me 'too tall' for my dress. anyone with advise??? TIA!
Bring the shoes to your first fitting, see how they work. If you are 'to tall' for your dress, have a backup pair ready!!

i think part of my problem is i love tall heels, and so does FH (well, not for him...ha, for me!)....not looking forward to the thought of trying to find a low heel!!!!
how long ago did you order your dress? maybe you can go try on the sample again and maybe order it with extra length if you need it?
my dress will be in soon....i think i will go this week to look for possible back up shoes, i will wait to dye them until my dress comes in, and if my original shoes are too tall, i will just use them for another occasion!!! i was just looking online and i found a few possibilites with 2 inch heels!!!
