I have to put my gown on over my head. How am I going to do this the day of the wedding without totally ruining my hair and not get make up on it?
Anyone else have this problem?

Re: dress question
I can't... It's a dropped waist so it's too thin in the actual waist area to get over my hips. I have always had to put the samples over my head.

Re: dress question
My hair girl told me she will stay with me until I walk out the door just in case I need any touch ups. I would just be careful with my make-up.

Re: dress question
I think if you put your arms up and have one or 2 people help you slowly get into it, you should be ok with little to no hair or makeup disturbance.

Re: dress question
ick you have me worried now. mine is a drop waist. it hasnt come in yet and the sample was gigantic on me so I was able to easily step in.
The zipper doesnt go far down enough for you to step in? Can you try stepping in at your next fitting?
I agree, you should have enough people there on the day of to help you in without messing up your hair.
Do you have to lift over your head to get out also?

Re: dress question
I actually thought people put pillowcases on the heads to avoid getting make-up etc on the dress. My friend did this....

Re: dress question
Yea seriously just make sure that you have a whole crew to hold it and keep it away from touching your hair and face. And definitely try and get dressed before your hair and makeup girl leave!
