I have a silly dress question for you 2012 girls -
Those of you who bought your dresses already - lets say they come in WAY before the wedding... have you been taking your dresses home, or does the store keep them until you are ready to say 'I DO'
My dress should be in by like Sept and Im kinda freaking because i literally have no where to store it!

My dress should be in by the end of August/beginning of September of this year.
The Demetrios store in Smithhaven Mall (Macy's) said they would hold on to it in the back until it's time for my fittings.
I asked if they charge anything to hold it and they said no. You could call and find out.

It depends on where you bought it. I know Davids bridal does not hold onto it. I hope my store will hold it for me.

If you are doing the fittings in that store they will hold it, otherwise you have to bring it home.... if you are going to another seamstress then maybe have them hold it there after a first fitting??
i have the same issue and don't know where I'm going to put it!!

My dress will stay at village bridal the whole time- I ordered it about a month ago & it's supposed to come in around Mid-November...I'd rather it stay there so FH doesn't accidently see it

It depends on the store where you bought your dress. I would just call and ask them and if they don't, maybe you could work out some sort of deal with them!

I have to take the dress home when in comes in. My mom is kinda stressing me out about the whole thing actually. Shes all in a tizzy about where we are gonna keep the dress and what if it yellows. its only a year! oy!
