I am worried about my dress again I don't know why I have had such a hard time with this.

Here is the story: I ordered a dress in June, then I already did one re-select ( I was only allowed to pick from the same designer I ordered because the first dress I ordered had already gone into production). Now, I am unsure about the new dress and I cannot get the first dress from Kleinfelds (a completely different designer) I loved out of my head. The reason I didn't get the first dress was because I was just afraid that I was making a decision too quickly and I wanted to look around more. But now, I think I am willing to lose the deposit on the dress I ordered to get the original dress that I loved at Kleinfelds but I am really unsure what to do now. Plus I would lose a pretty large deposit on my first dress since I wouldn't even be able to order the same dress.

I am trying to find someone to go back to see both dresses again with me but its tough because my bridesmaids now want to kill me since I have been really indecisive about this. I am seriosuly afriad to tell people about this, especially my mom.

What would you guys do? I need you guys to be completely honest Am I being crazy?

ETA to add pictures of both dresses, the second one is the one that I have ordered, the first is from Kleinfelds

I was actually interested in the first dress for myself, but I think the second one is even prettier!

i would just go to kleinfelds to try on the dress...you may realize its not the dress for you and realize you love the one you ordered. but if u do end up loving it i would say order it bc u want to be happy with the dress

if you can't find anyone to go to kleinfelds with...i am in the city and would be happy to meet you there...ill give you my honest opinions

Seriously I totally agree with this. I am THE most indecisive bride and I hate the feeling of people just being fed up with it (particularly FH in my situation). I would totally go with you if you needed some extra support, hang in there!!!

I think the 2nd looks amazing on you though. They both look amazing on you (yeah.. not a big help, I know)

I would go back and try them both on. If you can maybe bring your MOH and say 'your gonna kill me..... but can you come with me again? I REALLY value your decision and I need major help'. Imo, the moh has to deal with a little more from the bride then the BM's.

$ is of course an issue but in the end you don't want to be questioning yourself and thinking 'what if'.

i agree that the dress you ordered is BEAUTFUL!!! My Bff told me that once i chose my dress to STOP LOOKING!!!!!!!!! i havent looked since and its probably for the best... there will always be other dresses but only you will know which one is best for you...

these are both beautiful dresses but the 2nd one, the one you ordered, has something special going on. but try them on again and do what makes you happiest

If it's your money and you're willing to lose your deposit, then go try on both dresses again. I love both of them. I do like the bodice of the Kleinfeld's dress a little more, but like pp said, you're absolutely glowing in the dress you purchased! Granted, we can't see your face in the Kleinfeld's dress but you look so happy in the 2nd one!

Personally, I love the dress you ordered much better, you look so beautiful. I think its natural to feel indecisive, this is the biggest decision of the whole wedding process (imo). And I wouldn't go back, only because it seems like you keep second guessing yourself....what if you go back, change everything again and then have bad feelings again.....maybe just go back and try on the dress your ordered to see yourself in it again.

I would say go back with a BM don't tell your mom yet but do it quickly. Go see both gowns and see how each makes you feel. Then decide from there. I am sure both dresses are gorgeous and look beautiful on you.

I wouldn't wait to much longer though.

the reason I asked was I like your choice better but thought 1 fit better but being that 2 was pply clipped or too big, that's why...
My dress looked WAY better in my size!

IMO, the second one looks fabulous on you! I like the way the bodice fits..BUT you're the one that has to feel beautiful in it. I'm sure one of your BM will go with you if they know how important this is to you.

You look gorgeous in 2nd dress so I wouldn't worry!!!

But to make yourself feel better maybe go back and try them both on one more time. Even if your BMs are fed up as some LIWers to go with you!!! Who would refuse a trip to Kleinfelds????

I love the dress you ordered... You do whatever makes you happy Kristen. You should not be forced to wear something you don't like. Maybe go back to Klienfelds and try on the 1st dress to see how you feel... good luck

As someone who did a re-select I think I can offer some valuable insight-

Both dresses are gorgeous-I think all of us could go back and forth on opinions and which we like better, but its not gonna get you anywhere. Its YOUR opinion that counts most.

When I did my re-select I went by MYSELF because I found that when I ordered my first dress I went too much off of everybody else's emotions and opinions. If you are considering the Kleinfelds dress definitely go back and try it on. Its your dress and you know deep down which will be best.
The only people who knew I was doing a reselect were my mom nad my DH. And they thought I was ridiculous. But I knew deep down what I needed to do.

I will be honest, even after I did the re-select, after a month or 2 I was second guessing. Point blank-you're always going to second guess this sort of thing..IT'S YOUR WEDDING DRESS!
Only you know deep down inside what you want.

Don't tell too many people about your second thoughts-it will be like a spinning hamster wheel of dress confusion. If you change your mind and go with the Kleinfelds dress, tell everyone after the fact, and make it a surprise.

Both are beautiful but I really like the one you ordered. Take a BM or just a reg friend and ease your mind. You shouldn't stress.

I like the second one better.

Ultimately, you have to be happy and comfortable with it since you'll be wearing it all day. You don't want to regret the decision you made, but you can go crazy looking at dresses. I just got my dress yesterday and I made it a policy not to even look at dresses anymore (other than to go with my bridesmaids). I've seen some girls who have ended up ordering 2 or 3 dresses before their wedding day! That's nuts! So if you're happy with the second one, and I assume you love it since you did order it, then stick with it girl! You look great!
