Dress Shopping

So I'm going to start dress shopping soon but I really have no idea where to start! Preferably I'd like a place where I can get both my gown and my BM dresses (hoping to get a discount that way!). I'm in love with Maggie Sottero gowns and really like Jim Hjelm BM dresses. These are a few of the stores that carry both - any experience with these or input on where to start (or where to get discounts if buying both my dress and BM dresses)??

Bridal Reflections (Massapequa)
Lillette's
Helen's
Burton's

I've been to the BR in Carle Place not Massapequa and got both my dress and bm dresses there. So far so good!

Of u know the style I would call around.. On the jim hjlem webiste they have retailers listed.. My girls tried there's on at bridal ref in carle place bc that's where they had them...but they got them from the place I got my dress bc they were offered a discount

I was at Helen's last nite. Make sure Ashley is there when you go - I had a good time w/ her.

Lillettes is wonderful!!!!!!! Geri is well known on here for being great and she really is!!!

They have a pretty good selection of Bm dresses but I dont think that many Jim Helm ( I would call ahead if you are interested in certain styles)

I just terrible read a review about Bridal Reflections on Brides Review board (not the one in Carle Place) and it was pretty bad. I think they get mixed reviews. I would so a search on here for more info

Lillette's is AWESOME! Definitely ask for Gerri. She's was amazing.

ETA: I found my gown at BR Massapequa, but I was unimpressed with the service and consultants there, so I'm ordering the gown from Lillette's

Thanks Ladies - I see that BR does have some negative reviews. Any other places in Suffolk county? I'm coming from Northport so Baldwin is a little on the far side - even though I'm definitely going to check out Lillette's after all the great reviews!
