Okay I need help, I went to this one location a few times and every single time the meeting just turned me off (trunk show, nasty sales person, etc). I only keep going back because they are the only location on LI that has a dress I am interested in. Needless to say I am now getting turned off by the dress. Now I am back to square one on shopping!
SOOO Ladies, could you help me out and tell me where you went dress shopping and had a good experience please (can be in NYC or LI). I would like to start as soon as possible and get this check off my list!

i too had my best expeirence at Village Bridal thats where i ended up finding the one. I also had a good experience at Davids Bridal in Massapequa just because they kinda leave you alone and dont rush you as much as some other shops so you can really try on as many gowns as you want.

I had a good experience at Bridal Suite in Bayshore- Maria was so nice!
I would also look up where your dress is sold and ask the representatives from the designer who carries the dress- explain to them that you didn't have the most positive experience (especially if it's one of the stores they list as a premier seller). You can also look into asking another bridal location about ordering that dress as a sample. Good luck!

I went to two places-- RK in the city: I went on a tuesday at 3 pm and had a great experince, the girls were helpful and it was a great first experince
I bought my dress at lillettes in bellmore-- great costomer service and good selection!

If you know the dress that you want, maybe another shop can order it for you. If another shop carries the same designer, they can probably order any dress from that line.

I found & ordered my dress from RK Bridal in the city, had a good experience.
I also went to the look at the following places and good experiences with sales help/dresses: Bridal Reflections Massepequa Davids Bridal- Westbury Macy's Manhasset

I had a good experience at Bridal Elegance in Dix Hills and at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa. I ended up ordering from Bridal Reflections!

Alexandra Boutique on Austin street in Forest Hills. They are having a huge sample sale right now as well. Small store with a great selection of dresses and great service

Kleinfelds all the way! I went to quite a few places and Kleinfelds was by far the best!
