I have two appointments on Thursday - one at Lillette's where I got my BM dresses and one at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa because I have to go there for a fitting anyway. I'll let you know how they go!

Thanks everyone!! I have an appointment the next three saturdays - first Fantasia, then village bridal, then bridal reflections in massapequa. i'm starting to get excited!!

i feel like i'm worried about this part of the wedding the most ... worried i will be too picky, or i won't be picky enough and will have regrets, or i will just look horrible in everything!!

how many times did all you go before getting your dress? I set aside four a love at davids bridal and I was shocked I even had that many--the BF and I went on a whim Friday afternoon just the two of us and now I cannot wait to go again!!! But I do want to go to a few others...namely the one in Babylon and Lotus because that is where my sister got her dress a few years ago! I also wanted to try Macys Bridal Suite in Manhasset--has anyone ever been?

I went to 3 places.. First was Lilette's in Bellmore (loved it there), 2nd was bridal reflections in massapequa (hated it, she said 3k was a really low budget for lace and that she only had two lace gowns in the entire store which was total BS and really pissed me off..), then 3rd was Pronovias in NYC and it was amazing, I got my dress there

i purchased my dress from bridal reflections in massapequa. i went to several stores and also really loved my experience at village bridal

I bought my dress at Bridal Reflections in Carle Place..it took me 3 appointments until I finally said yes since I wanted my sister and grandma to both be there. I had Andrea as my consultant and I loved her. I had NO intention on going to Kleinfelds because I didn't want to be going back and forth into the city especially for fittings even though it's only 1-2 times.

I went to wedding salon of Manhasset & RK bridal, which both were great experiences but ultimately got my dress at Lotus bridal in Brooklyn..my next stop would've def been bridal reflections & Village bridal

I went to Macy's Bridal in Manhasset. Had Alyssa as my consultant and she was so sweet and helpful. I've also been to Wedding Salon in Manhasset, Kleinfeld (went for the experience and have the best time ever, they were amazing!), and Pronovias. I've found dresses I love but I'm looking for that 'feeling' of this is the one! So I made appointments at Bridal Reflections and Lillette's. Hopefully I say yes to the dress soon!!

I had Alyssa this Saturday too! She is great! She picked out some awesome stuff, it was great working with her. But i know what you mean with that 'feeling' I went with my mom who seems to hate everything I love lol...and my sister, and because I value the opinion of all of my bridesmaids, I decided to wait until they can all make it.

dress shopping | Page 2 - Long Island Weddings

Im bummed out. I found a dress I really loved the look of on myself by Demetrios, at Manhasset, but when I look it up online and in the pictures it looks hideous!

Lmao needless to say I did not buy it. Has this happened to anyone else?? And unfortunately I could not take pictures of myself in it because they do not allow it, so now I have kinda been sulking about it for the past week not knowing what to do. Oh my.....

Suggestions?
