Dress Shopping experiences so far!

Okay girls .. today I went to Kleinfelds. Side note: Monday night I went to Bridal Reflections in Massapequa and LOVED it there. Darnell is *amazing* and so knowledgable about clothing, fit, quality, etc. because she designs clothes. She was soooo soo sweet to me and also my mom. Highly recommend her - she is there 3 days a week.

SO - I was super excited of course! I am obsessedddddd with SYTTD - been watching since episode 1. It's huge! I saw some of the consultants on the show walking around - Christiana, Nicole (the one who always talks in the beginning), Debbie. I had Antonella (shes on SYTTD sometimes). She also had an intern working with her. She was SOOO cold and like barely even cracked a smile. It felt very rush rush and she was rude the whole time to my mom! Big attitude. My mom said a dress was cute and she (consultant) like flipped out. It seemed like she just wanted to get to the next appointment. My favorite dress I tried on was one I tried on at home! So it was pointless to buy it there when I could just go to BR where I had a lovely pressure-free experience and consultant.
She said there wasn't much in my price range (typical Kleinfeld) and she could only bring in more that were more expensive $$. So lame! I just thought she was mean and I didn't feel comfortable with her! She was saying I wasn't giving big reactions but honestly it's because I didnt feel comfortable with her. It was also BOILING hot in there - I was literally perspiring, beat red, sweating ETC. I think their A/C was broken. We were sooo disappointed. It really was factory-ish. And alterations are $600 flat fee.

I am sure they have some other lovely consultants there who are sweet but I did not have one ! :(

Best part of the day - MEETING RANDY!!! He was on his way in when we were leaving and I was sooo excited to see him! He is a sweetheart! I took a picture with him :) My mom told him we were star struck and he said oh no don't be! haha :) Love Randy!

I also love SYTTD (so does my mom) but we both got turned off from the show and decided not to go there for dress shopping! I know every salon is in business to make $ but I think seeing the behind the scenes stuff they say and do really turned me off. Even though they have the biggest selection and all that, I am glad we went to a neighborhood place. We went to only one place, Wedding Salon of Manhasset - if you go, ask for Noreen. :)

That stinks sorry it wasnt enjoyable!! That is why I didn't go there, I knew it wouldn't be a good experience, they are so over exposed.
Did you go to Bridal Suite of Bayshore? They were sooo nice and have a big selection not only of bridal dresses but bridesmaid too.

Sorry to hear that you didn't have a good experience.. At least you got to meet randy though! I love him!! Bridal reflections is where I bought my dress from & I'm very happy so far.. Thanks for sharing!

I'm so sorry you had a bad experience! I got my dress there and loved it (so far). It really does come down to who your consultant is.

I LOVED Lillettes, not sure if you've looked there, but Pat was great!!!

Is it just me but i feel thaylt kleinfelds in atlanta the ppl are soo much nicer!

Omgosh! Isn't she amazing?? I love her!! She is such a pleasure to work with. She picked a dress for me that I loved! She said she needed to see it on me lol!
