if you take a size 2 in normal regular everyday dresses, what size would you take in a wedding gown?

Probably a 4 or 6.....I'm a size 4-6 nomally and would have needed a 10 in a wedding gown!! They run so small.......

If you know the designer, you can go to their website and they usually have a size chart with measurements...HTH

I normally wear a 2 in dresses and they wanted to order me a size 8. I actually got them to order me a size 6 and they had to take it in!

Def. depends on the designer - it ranges from true-to-size to 2-4 sizes bigger than your regular dress size.

mine was exactly on - I'm a 6 regularly and a 6 in my wedding dress.

Hey Jess, it definitely depends on the designer so I would go to their websites and see what their sizing is. I'm usually a 4 in regular clothes but in wedding gowns I'm between a six and eight. I'm so excited for you.

I think it really depends on the place. It seems that they go by measurements. I am a 4 and they ordered a 4 but I see that a lot of places order sizes much bigger!

I think it goes by place too. At different places I tried on size 6's, 8's & 10's and they all fit.
The woman at David's said their wedding gowns run small but the BM dresses are true to size.

It depends on the designer. In one brand I was a 10, in another I ordered a 6. I wear 4 which is now loose on me.

they run as they do in europe. Approx four sizes bigger than your normal size.
