I went for my first fitting the other night and when they unzipped the bag...it was not my dress. They ordered my dress in the wrong color. I almost had a heart attack. My wedding is in less that two months and I can't be confident that I will have the dress I want for my wedding. The woman helping me put me off for about a 1/2 hour and then somehow miraculously found the dress in my size and my color. They were all very fishy when I tried to ask where they got it. They all kept changing the subject and i was still so shocked and upset to really yell. Then after another hour of waiting around in the dress to get fitted I found two small holes in the lace right on my chest. They say that they can fix it but I'm not so sure. No matter what happens, I am never going to recommend them to anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG That's horrible. I hope they can fix the lace! Seems a bit fishy that they just pulled your dress out of nowhere. I don't trust people who do business like that

Re: dress trouble (long)
Sounds like something that would happen at the place I bought my dress at!!!
I would go elsewhere for alterations if that happened. Something definitely does not seem right and you should be completely happy with your dress, not questioning motives of the salespeople!!!

I can relate, I had issues with my dress and alterations. Also the salon also ordered the wrong veil twice.
Hope it works out!

Horrible! Any chance of getting your money back and finding someone who has what you want in stock? I know for myself - I could not deal with having to worry about someone I didn't trust to do the right thing.

Re: dress trouble (long)
Maybe the dress they 'found' was really just a sample and that's why it has 2 holes in it. Is it a size 10 because thats the most common sample size

Totally agree about the alterations. I'd take the dress somewhere else because they seem pretty untrustworthy.

Now that you've had time, I would definitely go back and yell, tell them you want the correct dress BRAND NEW and they will have to pay to have it rush ordered. They screwed up - make them pay for it! Don't let them ruin your big day!

How devastating. I wonder how places like that even manage to stay in business.
