Where did you buy the dress from?

I'm so sorry this happened to you.

Re: dress trouble (long)

I bought my dress at Angel Bridals in East Islip - they are wonderful and know that they do alterations even if you don't purchase your dress with them. They are a small, personable shop right on Montauk Hwy. You will love the service and care that Rosemarie and Vicky, the owners put into their customer service. If you need their phone number, just fm me. Good Luck

Now that you've had time, I would definitely go back and yell, tell them you want the correct dress BRAND NEW and they will have to pay to have it rush ordered. They screwed up - make them pay for it! Don't let them ruin your big day!

Yes I agree, demand a new one. I had my own dress nightmare today. I went for my 1st fitting and my dress was an inch and a half too short not to mention it was longer on the left than the right. They are rush ordering me another dress, they are eating the cost!! Don't let them get away with $crewing you.

Re: dress trouble (long)

You can try Renates in Lindnehurst. I got my dresses and my BM's dresses there and they have been great. They do alterations from the outside.
