dress update PIC ADDED

so i went to RK bridal today and tried my dress on which was 2 sizes bigger then the original one and I DONT LIKE MY DRESS !!! it fit fine but i dont like how it looks on me and now i dont know what to do...i am 6 months away and i already paid $400 for the dress i just keep looking at pics and i dont like it

At this point not all designers will be able to ship a new dress out in time...and if they can you might get hammered with a rush fee...what is it about your dress you dont like??

eta: I didnt see that you were 6 months out...i thought only 4..some might be able to do it...not all though!

Oh no! Did you try on 'Your' dress or the sample?

Did you try calling them and ask what the options are?
If they don't give you the options your looking for, would you consider taking a $$ loss and starting fresh? 6 months out you still have a lot of time, you could even buy the sample if you're in a time crunch.

I think its normal to freak out and change your mind on your dress..please, I could find a new 'perfect dress' each time I walked into a bridal place.

i'll post pics in a few when FH leaves but i dont feel sexy in it and it doesnt show any curves i mean im a small girl and i dont have too many curves but i feel like it makes me look like a stick..this sux

Ok, so i'm a small girl with NO curves and I felt the same way.. so here's my secret...shh... no telling ladies. I'm wearing a long line bra with push up cups AND I'm sewing in additional push up cups... HAHAHA Might be a lil juvenile like stuffing you bra, but I don't care... it's my wedding day and I want to look sexy, even if it's an illusion!

umm.. I think if she really, really didnt like she woudl have plenty of time to get another one.. Im not saying you should lose your money, but see what they can do for you ... you should be happy on your day!

see my edit...also, from working at the bridal salon i have learned that some designers take 6-8 months to come in...thats all iw as sayin...some might be able to do it...she should definitely try though if hse is unhappy.

Maybe once it's fitted to your correct size you'll feel better about it? Right now because it's too big it's probably overwhelming your small frame. Talk to the seamstress ... they might be able to alter it to fake curves? one of my BM has a very petite figure and when she got married they added cups and it looked great, they also took it in a little more in the waist and left the hips a little roomier to give her a more 'hourglass' shape.

If you really REALLY don't love the dress anymore there still is time to get a new one. Personally, I would take the dress as it is now to a good seamstress to have it transformed into the dress you want. Try to remember all of the things you loved about it in the first place, and then go from there! HTH

and i heard maggies take like 9 months to come in

also i would definitely add some fake boobies but i have no waist as well

looking at your dress i think youre nuts!! its so pretty!!! The rouging on the waist will definitely make your waistline look more narrow which can give the illusion of curves! What if you spoke to a seamstress about tapering the A-line to make it more slim fitted?

Okay so I just looked at your dress (I didn't realize you had pics up) and OMG it is beautiful!!! I love everything about it, the fabric, the silhouette, embellishments...!! That dress is going to look insane on you -- I definitely agree about the rouching in the waist offering more of a shape. I love everything about it!! I think once it's tailored to fit your body you will look gorgeous! So many women would kill to have your figure, you're so luck you can pull any dress off!
