so i went to RK bridal today and tried my dress on which was 2 sizes bigger then the original one and I DONT LIKE MY DRESS !!! it fit fine but i dont like how it looks on me and now i dont know what to do...i am 6 months away and i already paid $400 for the dress i just keep looking at pics and i dont like it

I think once the dress is altered...it is going to give you curves. And I think you will end up loving the dress.

it looks great!

if you want to 'add' curves, have the seamstress sew bra/padding directly into the dress. Also, maybe they can modify the dress slightly to give it a deeper sweetheart neckline, that will give the impression of more curves.

Oh boy I had the same problem. Did you talk with the bridal salon and ask them if you can do anything about it?

I think your dress is beautiful and maybe once it is altered you will love it if not sell it on craigslist and buy another

Ok I mean this in the nicest way possible...you're crazy...that dress is gorgeous. Once it is tailored and pressed, and maybe a skirt underneath to add some puff, you are going to look awesome!

As a girl with a similar build, I understand what you mean. BUT, I think that the dress needs some major work done on it, and I think it will look a lot better once it is properly fitted in the hips. My dress had the same problem...it's huge on top, and isn't fit properly in the waist and hips, but I'm confident with proper alterations it will look great, as will yours

I think the dress is gorgeous and looks great on you. I love the rouching. It just needs to be taken in in the hips a bit.

I personally love it. Adding cups and possibly wearing like a corset bra would add curves if your looking for that ya know

it looks great on you. Maybe your not seeing the whole picture. Once you have the dress on, your hair and makeup done, the whole look will come together.

I LOVE your dress!!! I think maybe if you add some crinolin (sp?) it would look better but I think it's beautiful! I am being totally honest I really do like it. If you make the skirt poofier it would totaly change it. Also, I'm a tiny girl as well but i have a bigger chest and in my dress for some reason you cant even see it...this bothers me and I'm hoping the seamstress can do something to help with that.

I think your dress is SICK! I love it!!!!!!! And I think even though its a lil big, once its fitted TO YOUR body, which you have a very nice shape. Your slender and can TOTALLY carry that dress off, you are going to be a BEAUTIFUL BRIDE! I know YOU have to feel comfortable in it and doesnt matter what anyone says, but MY GOD'S HONEST OPINION, DONT CHANGE THE DRESS! Its beautiful!

Talk to Diana there, shes AMAZING! She will listen to your concerns and HELP YOU! I had an issue with my dress concerning my body and she KNEW EXACTLY what to do to make it so you cant tell! =)) Shes got a GREAT eye!

I love the dress on you. But if you don't feel comfortable in the dress then I say you have time to find another dress. But I do think you look beautiful and with alterations the dress will fit you like a glove.

I love your dress.. that is one that i still wish I tried on. Once its fitted to you it will look amazing (it already does!) and you will love it again. I am kinda going through the same thing with my dress right now.. the more I try it on (the sample) the more i hate it. I am just hoping and praying I love it again once its fitted to me.
