So I have been shopping for awhile... having difficultly finding THE dress in my price range. I went to a shop today where they sell designer gowns from previous seasons that they get from the designers etc. So its like 24/7 Sample Sale.
Here is the pic of the dress that I have liked the most so far...
It's gorgeous Reem Acra dress. Originally $5k, but purchase price is 70% off. Cleaning is included in the price as well as an repairs (of which there are none on this dress since it just arrived yesterday)
What do you think of it...
Honest opinions... I know I look a little chubs right now... LOL! My friend is visiting....
I LOVE IT!! It's gorgeous and you got a great deal, Reem Acra is not cheap!

I don't think the top was my favorite. I actually do like strapless dresses best. I didn't even pick this one the sale girl did... and it ended up being my favorite of the 25 dresses I tried on today..
I say NAY. It's a georgous dress and I love it on you but you don't. If you say 'isn't my favorite' at ANY point, it's not THE dress for you. Just bc it was your favorite one of the dresses you tried on today doesn't mean it's the one. You should LOVE every single part of your dress! Keep looking for the one you love! You don't want to regret this decision.

I am confused! I am a commitment -a -phob I am always afraid I am going to find something better. The fit was amazing. I have tried on close to 70 something dresses and the fit and shape of it were perfect. But I am not 100% sure. Its the only one left so it might be gone by the time I decide... UGH!!!
I vote YAY!! If you try on 70 dresses, you are asking for trouble . . .there are SO MANY great dresses! But if you know that this is the cut, color, style and 'fit' you are looking for, STOP TRYING DRESSES ON!!
You will honestly drive yourself nuts!

It's pretty and the neckline is perfect for you - just worried that the fabric is pulling just underneath the bustline and through the waist. Can it be let out a bit? You're always better off having a little bit of room. Plus I agree that 2k seems a bit high. How's the weight and feel of the fabric?

go for it, its beautiful & special because it isnt the typical strapless beaded dress, and u wont look like every other bride.

Its pretty, but I would say Nay.. you have a great body, and think you may find something else you LOVE!!! Would you still love it AS much if it wasnt a REEM ACRA?

I have to say nay on this one...i saw you trying on other gowns when you were in town and i have to say they looked even better than this one looks! There is something about it that just doesn't wow me like the other dresses you were looking at...like someone else said, it doesnt do YOU justice!

I never had that 'this is it' dress moment either. I overthink everything too.
I still LOVE my dress...
Here is how I tell when I really want something. Listen to what you are saying in your head. If you keep thinking about that dress again and again- it's it!

I love it but I also feel like you would just 'know' when you try it on and not need to ask...not that we mind sharing our opinions at all...but most girls say that they just know when it's the Dress. Here's a question to help you though...if you had to pay full price would you still want it? Or is it only because it is a great deal? Sorry JMHO....

Well I would never pay 5K for a dress to be honest. Since we are paying for everything ourselves and I am already way over budget. So no I wouldn't it would be ruled out automatically and would never even be tried on. I loved the dress but I just not 'in love with it' Yes... I am breaking up with the dress... LOL!!!

i think the dress looks absolutely amazing on you! I say YAY. if you think it's the one, it's worth the price (especially since you are getting it so greatly discounted and with cleaning included).
