I loved all of the following and wanted something similar originally: Melissa Sweet Kleinfeld Dresses I LOVED and salivated over but way toooooo much money!
All the ones I loved were very similar yet when I tried ones that were similar on, they looked TERRIBLE on me! Clung in all the wrong places. I ended up with the gown in my album.

the lilac one is one i had wanted before i went shopping and i did try it on and was even about to buy it but the lady at the store didnt like how it looked on me and she showed me a different one, i had a hard time picking between the two bc i had my heart set on the other one for a while but the one i bought did look alot better on me, and after trying both on several times over and over i realized the one i bought was THE ONE!!!
HOWEVER i am adding some extra work to my dress, i am having them add crystals on the bottom part of the dress in the front the way the first one has beading on the bottom part but a different design

I loved reading thru this thread! I didn't have a particular dress in mind but I knew I wanted a lace edge train. So the first dress, I fell in love with but my mom hated, then I tried on dress #3 and fell in love, it was everything I wanted! Then I found #2 and felt like a princess, but I still wanted my mom's approval and she still wanted #3. So I tried it on with a veil and fell in love all over again.

I was completely obsessed about this dress from the moment I first saw it:
But after trying on a dozen dresses that was 'similar' since nobody in the 5 different bridal shops actually carried that dress, I took a chance at David's Bridal and found this dress:
As soon as I put it on I burst into tears and just KNEW this was it!!

I orginally wanted this Lynee Carter dress but would have had to go to Philly to try it on.
I ended up buying this Suzanne Neville gown instead! I loved my gown!

I fell in love with this Raylia dress... but I actually never got to try it on! When I tried on my dress though I just knew it was the one! I felt like a princess, and everyone in the store stopped to look at me... my mom was even crying! My dress is a Private Label by G!

I thought I wanted a strapless A-line dress with very little beading or embriodery & a short train.
I ended up with:
It has much more detail that I thought I wanted & the train is longer. It is strapless & A-line though!

Thought I wanted...(didn't even try it on, though, knew it would be too much $$$ so I looked at similar styles)
Dress I ended up with (and yes, in that color!) that I absolutely LOVE !!!
