Do you need to take a new photo when you change your name for your drivers license?

since they changed the style of the license you will need to unless you already have the new license.

I think you can keep the same photo. I had to renew and their was an issue (long story) and they used my old photo. I would call, you may be on hold for a while but at least you know if you can keep your old photo :D

You have to take a new photo since your name is changing ur signature is as well the photo and signature go hand and hand.

I just had to renew my license and i think it depends on where you go but they asked me if I wanted to take a new picture or keep the old I was like yeah keep the old. I like the picture and i was 21 lol. So you maybe able to just change the name online with the DMV and they just mail you the same one with the new name.
