Due for a new phone from Verizon - what to get?

I get a $100 credit, so most end up being free.

Have anyone of you gotten a new cell recently?
I'm probably going to get one this afternoon.

I don't text, I don't need anything superfancy - I just need a good reliable phone with a GOOD speakerphone.

Mich, how long ago did your sister get the Razr? The new software Razrs just came out recently. The older ones were cah-raaaaaa-ppy.

a few months ago, it was pretty recent, and shes had nothing but problems

My sister has the pink razr and she got mad one day and threw it out the car window. It got ran over by a car and it still works better than my Piece o' Sh*t! I would go for that one!

Is it really every 22 months? My 2 years is up in January and I am dying for a new phone. I thought I had to wait. I am gonna have to call Verizon right now. If that's the case, I am going tonight

i have one of the first razrs and absolutely love it! i've dropped it, kicked it, whatever and it works great. great speakerphone, great battery life, i love it (esp cuz my last phone was a piece of crap). i have it through cingular though, so that may be the difference between the mixed comments (love/hate) above. fh has a new razr through verizon and while i haven't heard too much complaining, he does have a hard time getting reception sometimes. also, he says his battery life is very short (but mine lasts for days). so maybe the provider is the problem? i dunno.

either way, when you get a new phone, be sure to condition the battery. let it die like 2 or 3 times - it's supposed to make it hold future charges for longer.

I have an LG, and I loved it until recently. The battery is horrible on it now (I've had it less than a year) so I go, they give me a new battery for free, and already, I fully charge it in the morning, and by 5pm when I'm leaving work, my phone has turned itself off because my battery is dead. FH had the same problem with his last phone (LG also).
