Duet doesn't guarantee you a certain photographer - I booked them and no names were mentioned. They swear they are all shoot the same and they are all equally great...I think they figure out who staffs weddings right before the actual date.

I had names put into my contract but I can't remember who I had. Sung and someone else.

ya they told me that they couldnt guarantee any particular photographer/videographer.

Great. I wanted more the photojournalist style. I looked through the sample books and they asked which ones I preferred, then they recommended the ones that took those pictures. Some more photographers have been added since I booked though (2 years ago now).

I have Scott and Jay. I wanted more photojournalist pictures and Scott does that. We just did our casual shots with him and he was great to work with. We asked them to put the photographers names in our contract and they had no problem with that.

Yes, very true. I just had Jay and Scott for my engagement shoot (I know very late) at Old Westbury Gardens last SAturday. We took pics for two hours. they even took some shots of FH with his guitar.

I should get proofs in a week or so. I'll post some so you can see.

UPDATE!!! -- DUET BRIDES ..

I DID IT!

I booked my first vendor today!
Duet will be doing our photography and videography!

I am so excited!

I have seen all their photographers work and all of them are great...
Alberto, Hong, Jay, woo, Just a few names I heard from them but they are all great pics.

I AM OFFICIALLY A DUET BRIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went to see 4 today (and canceled the two for tomorrow because Duet won us over!!!)

The name of my photographers were on the contract. But NOT my videographer. Their defense was that since the owner (Eric) did all the editing anyway, I was going to get a great edited video.

I had my casual shoot w/Scott last week. He was great and we can't wait to see the pictures!
