I'm meeting with Duet in an hour or so (they moved up my meeting from tonight). I want to add some things to the contract so that they're in writing.
I know some recent brides have had a few issues so I was wondering if you could tell me anything that I should really have in writing or make a note of from now so that I don't have an issue later on. THANKS!!!

The only thing we made them put in writing was getting the digital negatives at the end, but they do that for everyone now.

Our photographer isn't Duet -- but we did this too. Also request in writing that they are 'High-Resolution' digital negative. This way you can do enlargements with them. 'Low Resolution' are hard to work with.

Thanks ladies! I already have that in our contract from when we booked - although I didn't note that it should be high res - he did tell us it would be high res though...

i would also ask if they could let you pick your printed proofs.
after i received my proofs - i asked for the negative CD - which they gave me immeiately w/o problem - but the pics on the CD were grorgeous - and when i asked if they could print them - they told me they wanted to charge me per print!
so - if you can - see if they will let you pick the ones you want - cause i have 35 pics of brownies and cantalope - but the pics of my parents in my living room arent printed

ALSO - double check your TY amount. i was told repeatedly 150 - when i signed the contract - i mustve been so slap happy that i didnt notice they only had written 130. i was 20 ty's short.
